We have a pool of experienced volunteers provide one-to-one support and mentoring to individuals in the community and they are also involved in facilitating a range of group activities.
Training & Development Workers:
Our team of Training & Development Workers have specialist skills and knowledge in vocational training. They develop and facilitate a wide range of training initiatives including courses on Security Training (SIA), Health Care, Food Hygiene, First Aid and Health & Safety. They work with disadvantaged members of the community and support people to improve language and vocational skills.
Community Advice Workers:
Our Community Advice Workers provide one-to-one advice to vulnerable members of the community. Our advice workers are skilled and experienced in providing advice on a wide range of areas including CV writing, language, immigration and welfare advice. They also support people to access other sources of support and services provided by other agencies.
Specialist Project Workers:
We have a number of Specialist Project Workers who work with specific groups of vulnerable people in the community (young people, adults and older people) to help them with their particular needs. The focus of their work is to support young people and adults into employment and education, and provide activities and interventions aimed at improving older people’s well-being.
