MMWF conducts variety of fundraising events and most of them and depending on the expert team of trained volunteers. Volunteers are essential part of all our fundraising activities and running various projects for the vulnerable and most deprived community. MMWF aims to improve life of families most in need, who are suffering from multiple deprivations and isolation from the mainstream community. Apart from fundraising from various donors towards high quality project activities for the local community, MMWF also organises various fundraising events and activities to attract common people towards their good causes.
Events: We organise fundraising dinners and auctions, fashion shows, music concerts for even a couple of hundred people can raise generous amounts for MMWF.
Bucket Collection: We conduct planned bucket collection campaign to Supermarkets, London Undergrounds, Train Stations, Shopping Centres, and City Centres with prior permission from respective authority.
Non Uniform Day: We contact to local schools early in the year. Children of the school so interested in our cause easily agrees to do a non-uniform day. Students pay £1 for the privilege. All monies collected goes towards the cause of MMWF.
Bag Packing: Our trained volunteers’ drop-in to supermarkets and shopping malls (with prior permission for bag packing in busy periods of the year. This method can easily be used to raise funds.
A Simple Donation: Volunteers ask various shops, takeaways, relatives, friends for donations towards the cost of charity activities we run for the disadvantaged community. Each little contribution counts.
Car Wash: Company car parks or large supermarkets are good options. We ask permission, but usually people are fine because of our noble causes. Supermarkets and Shopping Malls are best locations during busy weekends and weekdays aw well.
Collection Boxes: We put little collection boxes at the point of sale of shops, retail outlets, supermarkets with our causes clearly captioned on the boxes. This attracts some charity collection as people often put their changes in the box for charity. We make collections on weekly basis.
